It was an unforgettable night for country pop singer-songwriter Taylor Swift. Swift received triple glory - Artist of the Year, Country Music Favorite Female Artist and Favorite Album for "Speak Now" - at the 39th American Music Awards on Sunday in Los Angeles, California.

"This is so crazy," said Swift. Indeed, Swift was thrilled after beating nominees such as Adele, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry.

And to her best friend, Selena Gomez, Taylor said, "I love you, Selena - she’s like the little sister I never had."

"I had one of the most magical nights with my friends tonight!" Swift later shared her moment with fans on Twitter.

Adele, who also won three awards - Favorite Female Artist and Favorite Album for '21' in the Pop or Rock Music category, as well as Favorite Artist in the Adult Contemporary Music group with Taylor Swift - was absent from the ceremony because she was recovering from a recent throat surgery.
